What a sweet guy 🙂
We have only had a TV for a couple of months so it is still a new novelty. Curious George and Cat in the Hat are the fav’s. On Mondays mornings, after the big kids have gone to school, I love a little quiet…..
We spent the day at Frank Slide – the deadliest slide in Canada is it’s claim to fame. We checked out the interpretive Centre for a couple of hours, and then went for a walk for a couple of hours. Here you see Turtle Mountain where a big chunk of rock slid (93 million tonnes!) taking out a portion of Frank township in 1903, killing close to 100 people. The slide debri is massive, and the couple of times we have stopped there the kids have loved clambering over the boulders. Neika is a little like ‘where’s waldo/wally’ in the picture!! See if you can spot her.
She has perfected her own sign for ‘food’…..tapping her nose with her finger. ALL. DAY. LONG. She is getting stroppy about my no!

Thank you for any other excellent post. Where else may anybody get that type of information in such an ideal approach of
writing? I have a presentation subsequent week, and I’m at the look for
such information.
Could one child out of 5 please be left handed? Like their Mum?
They are so sweet playing together when big siblings aren’t around!
It was such a gorgeous day, and I didn’t want to spend the afternoon inside. We had spent the day before at home, and though that was awesome, I wanted to get out. Somewhere different than just going for a walk from home. So we decided to head south, away from the little sprinkle of snow we had, to Surveyors Lake. I figured it would be open. But no. Canada is such a seasonal country, that all the parks close down in the winter. And we were locked out! Hmmm. Plan B. A mum and 5 kids. What could we do? We went down the road to Koocanusa, and joined the redneck mudboggers (people who take their vehicles out onto the mudflats that are left after the lake is drained in the winter, for hydro power, and do donuts). Except we didn’t mudbog. Ha! I’m not that cool of a Mum!! We just walked and found a place to play for a while and soak in the sunshine. Neika wanted to take pictures. She did a pretty good job!
This is my little mama-brag thing…..I am SO impressed with how well the kids find stuff to do.
It was a quiet Saturday and she asked me if she could find animal pictures on the internet because she wanted to draw. She found a dolphin silhouette that caught her eye and she set about crafting her own. One by one the other kids joined her. After she finished, she found her folder where she carefully keeps her best/favourite work and she organized that too. She seems to have a portfolio on the go, and she doesn’t know it!!
