I am glad someone might want to be like me!!
Actually, he treated it more like a camera, copying the same phrases he hears me say…..”wait a minute, I just need to focus”, or “hold still”. And he also tried it (and himself!) in all different positions and angles. The things they notice……!!
And a few other things I’m learning in this year’s 365 project…..my kids always wear the same clothes. And maybe you are getting tired of photo after photo of kids that don’t belong to you!
The ‘into everything’ age. Or maybe the ‘seek and destroy’ age.
And a few more just coz she’s cute!!
Eeek! Crazy crazy weather. It is early Feb and we are losing our snow to rain and warming weather. We went for a puddle walk. As in the ‘ground’ is solid ice with tonnes of water on top. It actually looked really cool with the kids slooshing around in it. But of course I got this photo right across the road, at the beginning, and then my camera battery went flat so I never got any photo’s of it 🙁
We were playing at the log piles with the kids cousin’s, and a very boisterous little puppy showed up. With no owner. None of the 8 kids know doggie habits very well so they were all kinda happy/kinda freaked out by it’s antics. Happy that it loved to chase the sticks they threw it. Freaked out when it started nipping at their hands and legs! The two littlest kids shed tears and much prefered to watch from the safety of sister’s arms.
When we left for home the puppy followed along. Thankfully it had it’s owner’s address and phone number on it’s tag so it was easily re-united with it’s family down the street.
The snow is melting FAST and has then been turning to ice. We are having unseasonable warm weather but last night we got a little sprinkle of snow to cover the ice so we went for a cross country ski around the smaller loop of what I got ‘misplaced’ on when I went by myself. Gorgeous day – stunning views. Gotta love where we live 🙂
